Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SaveMoney Agent, the text-message assistant, and the website savemoneyagent.com. By messaging the assistant or using the site, you agree to them.

1. The service

SaveMoney researches publicly available deals, promo codes, and prices, and — if you connect your Google account — scans your inbox for receipts and drafts refund or price-adjustment emails on your behalf. The assistant replies conversationally over iMessage.

2. No guarantee of savings

Deals, codes, and refund opportunities we surface are researched but not guaranteed: codes may be expired, restricted, or merchant-limited; refund outcomes depend entirely on the merchant. We say when an offer is unverified and we never invent a code, but you should always confirm terms at the merchant before relying on them.

3. Drafts, not sends

Refund emails are created as drafts in your own Gmail for you to review and send. You are the sender of any email you choose to send. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to spam, harass, scrape at scale, attempt unauthorized access, or violate any law or merchant policy. We rate-limit the assistant and may suspend numbers that abuse it.

5. Affiliate relationships

Some replies include partner offers with tracked links. If you complete a purchase through one, SaveMoney may earn a commission from the merchant. This is always disclosed in the message. Commissions never change the price you pay.

6. Third-party services

The service depends on third parties (messaging, AI models, browser sandboxes, integrations, and hosting) and their availability. Their terms apply to their portions of the service. SaveMoney is not affiliated with the merchants, networks, or brands that may appear in replies.

7. Intellectual property

The SaveMoney Agent name, code, and site content are owned by SaveMoney Agent. Trademarks and brand assets belonging to merchants or other companies remain theirs.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SaveMoney Agent is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost savings or profits, or outcomes of purchases or refund requests. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time; text "delete my data" to remove your stored information. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse or legal reasons.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
